In an effort to court the Chinese community, Perikatan Nasional secretary-general Azmin Ali highlighted a recent meeting between the coalition and the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM) to demonstrate its support for Chinese business owners.

This is despite the FMM being an organisation that is open to all races.
